1to1PROGRESS, a major player in distance language training, is changing its name. A new identity that seals the deal with a historical leader in e-learning.
The companies 1to1PROGRESS and 7Speaking have announced that they are pooling their services and know-how under a single brand name, 7Speaking.
Founded in 2010, 1to1PROGRESS offers distance language learning solutions in 12 languages. The company, based in Rouen, provides individual and group lessons to corporate employees and private individuals throughout Europe.
It specialises in tailor-made, personalised and flexible training programmes, and has built its reputation on a level of achievement by learners that is among the highest in the market.
7Speaking has been based in Paris since 2001, just a few months after the birth of e-learning. It now provides language training to over 500 corporate clients and thousands of SMEs worldwide.
The company has more than 800,000 users connected to its digital SaaS platform, and enables HR departments to plan and monitor the development of their organisations' international competencies.
7Speaking is becoming a key player in the development of language skills
In 2022, 1to1PROGRESS and 7Speaking began a series of joint projects aimed at developing synergies long awaited by the market. The plan to bring the companies together is now taking shape with the union of their teams, a homogeneous and enriched product portfolio, and a single brand.
“Our customers are already enthusiastic about the added value of this consolidation, which the market has been waiting for. Every day they express their satisfaction regarding the products and services that now bring together expertise that is unique in our sector. Our teams are enthusiastically supporting this new project for the language training industry."
Elie Smadja, CEO of 7Speaking
This new dynamic represents a major turning point in the language training industry. By gaining cutting-edge expertise in distance learning and pedagogical engineering, 7Speaking is becoming a key player in the European market for language training and is now a leader in the French market.
"Our ambition is to capitalise on the mutual know-how of both companies in order to provide the market with a truly effective and attractive product range. We are currently at the stage of accelerating our synergies, so an alignment of the brands was necessary."
